Job Description

As a File Clerk at Historic Records Corp., you will play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining our extensive collection of historical documents. Your responsibilities will include creating an efficient filing system, ensuring that all records are properly indexed, labeled, and stored. You will assist researchers by retrieving documents and responding to inquiries regarding historical records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization of historical documents and records.
  • Develop and enforce filing protocols for ease of access.
  • Assist in historical research and retrieval of specific records.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to address document requests.

  • Conduct regular reviews of archived materials for preservation.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in History or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in archival or records management
