Job Description

As a Building Materials Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the receiving, storage, and distribution of various construction materials. Your expertise in handling diverse materials will be essential to ensure compliance with industry standards and timelines. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering a safe and efficient work environment, while also optimizing processes for material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the processing of construction materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections of inventory and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead staff meetings to discuss safety protocols and workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with procurement to facilitate timely material orders.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of material handling equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Drive efficiency in warehouse operations through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in warehousing or material handling, preferably in the construction industry.
