Mechanical Engineering Technologist

Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to maintain heat transfer equipment, troubleshoot performance issues, and work with diverse engineering teams to implement effective solutions for advanced thermal systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations and optimization of existing systems.
• Engage with vendors for equipment selections and upgrades.
• Implement new software tools for heat transfer analysis.
• Develop technical reports for project stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance schedules and actions taken.
• Support in the troubleshooting of any immediate operational challenges.
• Work closely with QA teams to align engineering standards with operational outputs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certifications in energy management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in heat transfer operations.

• Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics: Strong foundation in the principles governing thermal dynamics and fluid flows.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process industry: Practical exposure to the manufacturing processes related to heat transfer applications.
