Prepress Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Technician to manage the preparation and optimization of files for print. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge software and technology to ensure the success of our printing projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare client artwork for print production.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and job information.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to troubleshoot any file issues.
• Produce high-quality proofs and mock-ups for client review.
• Maintain an organized workflow and efficient file management.
• Collaborate with print technicians to successfully execute production runs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and goals.
• Stay current with technological advancements in the printing sector.
• Provide feedback on process improvements and efficiencies.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise during client interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in prepress and print production

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

• Certified Prepress Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent
