Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Pipelayers to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will have experience in installing and maintaining various piping systems. This role is crucial to our infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with utility companies for proper positioning of pipes.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete reports on daily progress and challenges faced.
• Support other construction roles as necessary.
• Evaluate materials for pipe installation.
• Ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
• Provide input on potential improvements for installations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Pipefitter or Plumber is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction or piping

Technical Skills

• Piping troubleshooting
• Safety regulations knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in heavy machinery operation: Experience operating excavation and trenching equipment.
• Proficient in CAD software: Ability to use CAD tools for layout designs.
