Job Description

As the Electric Power Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing operations within the electrical power distribution sector. You will supervise a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and the efficient delivery of electrical services. This position requires a strategic mindset to effectively manage resources and streamline operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess operational capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Implement new technologies to enhance power distribution effectiveness
• Participate in regulatory meetings and serve as a representative for the department
• Provide hands-on support and leadership in critical operational situations
• Encourage team participation in safety drills and training sessions
• Maintain contact with vendors and suppliers to facilitate operations
• Review and refine operational policies regularly to remain compliant
• Develop a succession plan for key role positions within the team

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the power distribution sector
