Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency in our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems.
  • Perform system optimization and reliability assessments.
  • Compile and analyze test data to support design decisions.
  • Facilitate communication between engineers and project stakeholders.
  • Draft specifications and standards for engineering projects.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Research new technologies and processes to enhance project outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
  • Master's degree desired
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

  • Pro/Engineer or Creo

Certifications
  • Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
