Job Description

We are seeking an After School Coordinator to manage and enhance after-school programs for children. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily after-school activities tailored to children's interests.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff and volunteers.
• Engage families in the program through regular communications and feedback.
• Monitor child behavior and implement behavior management strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and development software for documentation and communication.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the Program Manager promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Education, Social Work, or related field

Experience

• Experience in program development and evaluation

Technical Skills

• Scheduling tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational

Advantageous

• Advanced First Aid and CPR certifications: Preferred advanced certifications for handling emergency situations.
