Veterinary Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinary Technician in Tampa! This role involves providing top-notch care to our furry patients, assisting veterinarians during examinations, and ensuring a compassionate environment for both pets and their owners. You will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and educating pet owners on health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare animals for surgery and assist in surgical procedures.
• Monitor and record patient behavior, vital signs, and reactions.
• Offer compassionate care to animals in distress.
• Conduct laboratory tests and assist in radiographic imaging.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care.
• Assist in client education and outreach programs.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all staff and animals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is required

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary practice
