As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker, you will play a vital role in the design and production process, collaborating closely with our talented team of designers to create unique patterns and garment specifications. Your keen eye for detail and technical skills will ensure that every piece meets our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into technical patterns.
• Work closely with the fabric team to select appropriate textiles.
• Create accurate and detailed specs for garment production.
• Evaluate prototype garments and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct fitting sessions and document necessary changes.
• Assist in training junior patternmakers and interns.
• Utilize CAD software for pattern making.
• Ensure timelines are met while maintaining quality.
• Report any discrepancies in materials or construction.
• Foster a collaborative environment by sharing insights.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pattern making

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D garment visualization software: Ability to create 3D visualizations of garments for better design interpretation.
