Tractor Engine Assembler

Job Description

As a Tractor Engine Assembler, you will be responsible for the meticulous assembly and testing of engines used in tractors. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, previous experience in engine assembly, and a dedication to delivering quality workmanship. This role requires a team player who is willing to collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal production outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tractor engines according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
• Perform thorough quality checks and functional tests on all assembled engines.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with engineering to streamline the assembly process.
• Document all assembly processes and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures during work.
• Maintain assembly tools and equipment in excellent condition.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers in best practices.
• Interpret technical documentation to guide the assembly process.
• Engage in process improvement activities to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in mechanical engineering is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in the agricultural machinery sector is beneficial

Languages

• English: Fluent
