Job Description

We are looking for an experienced First-Line Supervisor of Farming to manage daily operations and lead a team of stock handlers. This role involves ensuring animal welfare, overseeing tasks such as feeding and care, and implementing safety protocols. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and knowledge of agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of stock handlers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor animal health and implement necessary medical protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all operational aspects.
• Keep accurate records of stock health and facility maintenance.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Direct training and onboarding of new staff members.
• Collaborate with management to improve farming processes.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess stock conditions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related field
• Master's degree in Animal Science is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in farming or livestock supervision.
