Job Description

As a Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a key role in the fabrication of props used in various productions. Your responsibility entails precisely cutting and shaping wood materials to meet creative specifications, ensuring that our productions are visually captivating and safe.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret design drawings or blueprints to understand prop specifications.
• Use various cutting tools (saws, drills, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new prop ideas.
• Troubleshoot issues related to the cutting or shaping process.
• Document the cutting process for record-keeping and quality checks.
• Train new team members on safety protocols and operating machinery.
• Work closely with other craftsmen to integrate props on set.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Be flexible to adapt to changing project needs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Experience with technical drawing or blueprint reading is a plus.
