Job Description

We are seeking a Logging Equipment Operator to join our team in Seattle. In this role, you'll operate various heavy machinery to lift and load logs onto transportation vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the loading and unloading of logs using heavy machinery.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment settings for optimal performance.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
  • Document maintenance activities to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in environmental audits and sustainability reports.
  • Utilize GPS and other technology for efficient operation.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in forestry operations preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the forestry or logging industry.
