Athletics Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Athletics Teacher to inspire and educate our students in various athletic activities. This role requires both teaching and coaching skills, where you'll help students develop their athletic abilities in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive athletics programs including training and conditioning.
• Supervise athletic competitions, managing logistics and schedules.
• Encourage participation while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff about athletic progress.
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay informed on latest athletic education trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field
• Teaching certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2-5 years of teaching and coaching experience in athletics

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office
• Video analysis software
• Timing and scoring software

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication
• Leadership
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
