Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for innovation and an eye for detail to join our Detroit office. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and optimize mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
  • Utilize simulation software to evaluate design performance.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing systems as necessary.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product standards.
  • Enhance existing designs based on customer feedback.
  • produce accurate schematics for team reference.
  • Review supplier proposals to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Draft patent applications for innovative designs.
  • Mentor interns and junior engineers in best engineering practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with design exposure
