Job Description

The Milling and Planing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to shape and smooth wooden surfaces according to specified dimensions and finishes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and experienced in woodworking machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, run, and maintain milling machines for wood processing.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure that all products meet quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with inventory control to ensure necessary materials are available.
  • Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical diploma in woodworking or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
