Job Description

We are seeking a certified Flexible Endoscopy Reprocessor to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopes and related equipment, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the cleaning process of endoscopes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on reprocessing equipment.
• Train new staff on reprocessing protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with infection control teams to implement best practices.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment needed for reprocessing.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and prepare necessary reports.
• Assist in developing training materials and protocols for reprocessing.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing (e.g., CBSPD or IAHCSMM)
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in endoscope reprocessing

Technical Skills

• Automated endoscope reprocessors (AERs)
• Quality control management

Languages
