Job Description

We are searching for passionate Zoologists and Wildlife Biologists who will be an integral part of our research team. The ideal candidate will conduct field surveys, collect and analyze data on mammalian species, and contribute to conservation strategies aimed at addressing the critical threats facing wildlife.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate mammal populations and habitats.
  • Collaborate with both local and national conservation organizations.
  • Develop educational outreach initiatives aimed at schools and communities.
  • Utilize various data collection methods including camera traps and GPS tracking.
  • Prepare and publish scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in fundraising events and grant writing efforts for research funding.
  • Provide expertise in conservation policy discussions and efforts.
  • Perform ecological modeling to predict future habitat changes.
  • Contribute to biodiversity assessments and habitat management plans.
  • Mentor junior researchers and interns in field research methods.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree strongly preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant research or fieldwork experience
