Printing Press Operator

Job Description

As a Printing Press Operator, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our printing and slotting machinery. You will work alongside a team of professionals to produce top-quality printed products while maintaining compliance with safety standards. If you're mechanically inclined and have a keen eye for detail, this role is suited for you.

Responsibilities

• Operate flexographic and slotter printing machines effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during production.
• Train new operators on machine set-up and operation procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and loading of printing materials.
• Document and report any production variances to management.
• Assist in inventory management of printing supplies.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance productivity and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate or coursework in a relevant technical field (preferred)

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with specific printer models (e.g., Bobst, Heidelberg).

Technical Skills

• Flexographic printing knowledge
