Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Technologist to conduct specialized imaging examinations. Your role will include producing high-quality echographic images and assisting physicians in patient treatment plans, ensuring optimal care for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques for thorough diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with the ophthalmology team in developing patient treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all procedures.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide guidance regarding examinations.
  • Assist in the organization of departmental records and documentation.
  • Engage in research activities to improve echographic procedures.
  • Support clinic-wide quality assurance initiatives.
  • Encourage patient feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Foster a compassionate and understanding environment for all patients.
  • Develop educational materials regarding echography services.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmic Technician program
  • Certification as an Ophthalmic Echographer (COE) is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in ophthalmic imaging or related field
Technical Skills
