Geothermal Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Geothermal Technicians dedicated to the maintenance and operation of geothermal installations. You will ensure optimal performance and reliability of our advanced systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of geothermal systems and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to minimize disruption.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare reports on system performance.
• Engage with clients to explain system operations and answer questions.
• Work with a team to develop sustainable energy solutions.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair in an industrial setting.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Electrical systems knowledge
• Proficient in CMMS

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• EPA Certification
• Certifications specific to geothermal technology (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with PLC systems: Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and their application in geothermal systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills: Familiarity with welding processes and fabrication techniques for system installations.
