Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will engage in assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for patients.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment strategies and plans.
  • Prescribe necessary medications and assess their effects.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support when required.
  • Maintain detailed patient documentation and records.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions during team meetings.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment pathways.
  • Keep updated with the latest psychiatric practices and guidelines.
  • Advocate for patients in treatment and community settings.

Requirements

Education
  • MD or DO qualification
  • Completed psychiatric residency training
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry
