Job Description

The Knit Goods Press Hand is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that press and finish knit goods such as sweaters, socks, and tights. The ideal candidate will have experience in the textile manufacturing sector and a keen eye for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate machines for different product specifications.
• Conduct analysis of production workflows for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines efficiently.
• Track inventory of supplies needed for production.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Train junior staff on machine operation best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in textile operations is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knit goods finishing
• Machine calibration

Languages

• English: Fluent
