Job Description

We are looking for Electrical Engineers who are committed to making a difference in rural areas by improving their access to electricity. You will work closely with local stakeholders to develop efficient energy systems that promote sustainability and foster community development. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while providing training to local technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to optimize existing systems.
  • Design hybrid systems integrating solar, wind, or other renewable sources.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns working on rural electrification projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and local communities to ensure transparency and engagement.
  • Develop strategies to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in rural systems.
  • Create presentations for stakeholders highlighting project goals and progress.
  • Implement post-installation project reviews to assess performance and community satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years directly related to rural electrification projects is strongly preferred
