Job Description

As a City Planning Aide, you will assist in conducting research, data collection, and analysis for city projects. Collaborate closely with the planning team to develop and implement effective strategies for urban development, zoning, and transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data analysis for city planning projects.
  • Create and update reports and documentation for planning initiatives.
  • Help execute urban development strategies, including zoning and transportation planning.
  • Collaborate to assess the impacts of new projects on the community.
  • Engage in public outreach activities to inform and involve residents.
  • Track and process land-use applications for compliance with city regulations.
  • Gather field data through site visits for ongoing studies.
  • Manage and optimize planning software and geographic information systems (GIS).
  • Contribute to team discussions on innovative planning solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in urban planning or community development
