Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Literacy Interventionist to support preschool students struggling with reading and writing. This role involves collaborating with teachers and parents to develop personalized strategies that foster literacy improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify student needs through assessments and implement targeted learning strategies.
• Collaborate with educators to support students in the classroom setting.
• Document and report on student achievements and challenges.
• Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of literacy programs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred
• Special Education certification is required

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in literacy interventions

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of literacy assessments
• Experience with evidence-based literacy programs

Certifications

• Certified Reading Specialist preferred
• Special Education credentials

Languages

• English: Fluent
