Join our team as an Ash Handler, where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling and disposal of ash produced from industrial processes. This role is crucial in maintaining environmental standards and ensuring workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect and transport ash, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Regularly inspect equipment and report performance issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work with team members to optimize ash handling processes.
• Participate in training sessions related to safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Document daily activities related to ash handling and disposal.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing ash handling equipment as necessary.
• Conduct visual inspections of ash handling areas for compliance with environmental standards.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss safety enhancements and operational improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training in hazardous materials handling is a plus.

Experience

• Experience operating heavy machinery is preferred.
