Job Description

A Chemical Preparer is responsible for preparing and handling various chemicals used in manufacturing processes. They ensure all chemical mixtures and solutions meet quality standards and are properly labeled and stored.

Responsibilities

• Record daily production metrics and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions regularly.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Help develop and improve mixing processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Chemical Technology or related field
• Relevent certifications preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in mixing and blending operations.

Languages

• Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS): Ability to reference and interpret safety data sheets for various chemicals.
