Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new suppliers and manage relationships to enhance logistic operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to customs duties and compliance.
  • Advise clients on customs duties, tariffs, and international trade agreements.
  • Participate in negotiations for freight services and customs services.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and customs authorities.
  • Monitor changes in international trade regulations.
  • Implement and oversee systems to improve efficiency in customs processing.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field
  • Export Regulations Extensive knowledge of export laws and regulations.
  • Contract Negotiation Proficient in negotiating contracts with international stakeholders.
  • Logistics Management Experienced in managing logistics for international shipments.
  • Analytical Skills Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and operational data.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for client presentations.
  • Time Management Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)
  • English (Fluent)
  • Spanish (Conversational)
Advantageous
  • Experience in a Leadership Role: Previous experience in leading export teams is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of International Trade Agreements: Familiarity with international trade agreements and compliance requirements.
