Job Description

As an Orthotist and Prosthetist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, designing and fitting prosthetic devices, and providing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and measurements for device fittings.
  • Customize prosthetic designs using CAD software.
  • Monitor clients' progress and satisfaction regularly.
  • Be proactive in identifying potential issues with prosthetics.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and equipment.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and interns.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers for client coverage.
  • Participate in workshops and seminars to enhance skills.
  • Assist in developing new procedures for device fabrication.
  • Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics is preferred
Experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in a clinical setting.
Technical Skills
