Job Description
The Occupational Health Nursing Director will oversee the occupational health nursing department. This role involves leading a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and promoting employee wellness.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the occupational health nursing department.
Responsible for policy creation reflecting current legislative standards.
Plan and conduct employee health assessments and screenings.
Direct initiatives to improve employee health and safety within the workplace.
Review and refine health protocols based on industry updates.
Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of health programs.
Engage in outreach to improve employee understanding of health resources.
Serve as a liaison between management and health professionals on workplace safety.
Monitor compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Foster a culture of health and wellness within the organization.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health (preferred)
Experience
7+ years of experience in occupational health management
