Job Description

The Occupational Health Nursing Director will oversee the occupational health nursing department. This role involves leading a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and promoting employee wellness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the occupational health nursing department.
• Responsible for policy creation reflecting current legislative standards.
• Plan and conduct employee health assessments and screenings.
• Direct initiatives to improve employee health and safety within the workplace.
• Review and refine health protocols based on industry updates.
• Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of health programs.
• Engage in outreach to improve employee understanding of health resources.
• Serve as a liaison between management and health professionals on workplace safety.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
• Foster a culture of health and wellness within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
• Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health (preferred)

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in occupational health management

• Electronic Health Records Management

Certifications

• Advanced Occupational Health Certification (AOC)

Languages
