Job Description

As a Textile Knitting and Weaving Machine Setter, you will play a pivotal role in our production line, ensuring all machines are running efficiently. You will also be involved in quality checks and collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes. Your expertise will help us produce top-notch textiles.

Responsibilities

  • Run knitting and weaving machines to produce textiles that meet quality standards.
  • Perform necessary adjustments to ensure the smooth operation of machines.
  • Keep detailed records of machine operations and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to enhance production processes.
  • Identify and report any potential safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in machine operation.
  • Assist in inventory management and material handling.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding production status.
  • Participate in team initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and quality.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in textile production highly regarded
Experience
  • Previous experience in high-volume textile production environments preferred
