Electrical Estimator

Job Description

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for electrical projects, ensuring all costs are accounted for and the project is viable. Collaborating closely with the project manager and other team members, the estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs for electrical components.
• Implement cost-saving measures in estimating processes.
• Coordinate with field operations to ensure scope alignment.
• Participate in value engineering sessions to enhance project feasibility.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to improve future estimates.
• Maintain a database of historical costs for reference.
• Support marketing efforts with insights from estimating perspective.
• Promote best practices across estimating team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree or additional certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, especially in commercial projects.

Languages

• English: Fluent
