Job Description

We are seeking a Radiology Practitioner Assistant to work under the supervision of a radiologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care by administering diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting in interventional processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic exams in compliance with safety and best practice standards.
  • Document patient information and imaging results.
  • Support patients through the imaging process, addressing any concerns.
  • Assist in educational sessions for patients regarding procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and technologists for efficient workflow.
  • Engage in continuing education to remain current in the field.
  • Implement protocols for effective patient care and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master’s degree in Radiologic Science or a related field
  • Certification as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) by ARRT
  • Current licensure to practice in California
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant or in a related field.
