Shaper Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Shaper Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining shaping machinery to shape metal and plastic materials. They should have strong technical knowledge and experience with shaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate shaping machines, ensuring precision in every task.
• Conduct quality checks on shaped materials to verify adherence to specifications.
• Implement routine maintenance and repairs on machinery as required.
• Interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications effectively.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with supervisors on production scheduling and workflow.
• Assist in training new operators on best practices and machine operation.
• Maintain compliance with company policies regarding tooling and materials.
• Document any deviations from standard processes and suggest corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machining is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC shaping machinery
