Job Description

As a Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer, you'll directly engage in the installation and maintenance of critical undersea cable systems. You will work in an innovative team environment focused on ensuring reliable communication across maritime networks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks.
• Collaborate with engineers in the installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Perform all duties in a way that promotes safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades to existing systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide field support during cable deployment activities.
• Engage in continual learning on new technologies and trends in telecommunications.
• Support project managers on various initiatives related to submarine cable operations.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications operations.

Technical Skills

• Marine electronics
• Underwater cable installation

Certifications

• Advanced First Aid Certification
• Telecommunications Equipment Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
