Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Rafter Technician to join our expert team. The main responsibility of this role involves constructing and installing wooden rafters for various construction jobs, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of project timelines and goals.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers for project consistency.
  • Address on-site challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Document work processes and report to the Construction Manager.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship by following best practices in carpentry.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal apprenticeship in carpentry preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or rafter installation, including residential and commercial projects
Technical Skills
  • Wood framing
  • Safety protocols
Soft Skills
  • Communication
  • Physical stamina
Certifications
  • Builder's License (if applicable)
  • Forklift Safety Training
Languages
  • English: Fluent
