Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and experience working with manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing and testing mechanical components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design reviews and incorporate feedback.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training where needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance product functionality.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
