Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Litigation Claims Representative where you'll handle a range of litigation claims. Your expertise will be essential in negotiating settlements and managing all aspects of the claims process.
Responsibilities
Evaluate the merits of claims and determine appropriate action based on evidence and policy terms.
Develop settlement proposals and negotiate with stakeholders to resolve claims effectively.
Monitor the status of claims, providing timely updates to management and stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements within the claims handling process.
Train and mentor junior staff on claims management procedures.
Work with other departments to gather necessary information for claims evaluations.
Document all communications and activities related to claims in a timely manner.
Assist in the development of training materials and presentations for the claims department.
Participate in audits and compliance reviews as required.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Law
Master's degree is a plus
Experience
3-5 years of experience in litigation claims or insurance industry preferred
