Mechanical Repair Technician

Job Description

As a Mechanical Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will work closely with our skilled team to troubleshoot mechanical issues, carry out preventive maintenance, and assist in the installation of new machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Respond to mechanical failures and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist in the development of maintenance plans and schedules.
• Supervise the mechanical work of contractors as necessary.
• Engage in hands-on problem-solving and repair work.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for project success.
• Train new technicians on machinery operation and safety.
• Research and evaluate new repair technologies for implementation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant mechanical repair experience

Technical Skills

• Machinery Diagnostics

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pneumatic systems: Understanding of pneumatic systems is a plus.
