Glass Lathe Operator

Job Description

We're in search of a Glass Lathe Operator to oversee the operation of glass lathes and ensure that production runs smoothly in our facility. In this role, you'll contribute to the manufacturing of premier glass products that meet stringent quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine settings and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.
• Document production metrics and assist in inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the development of production schedules and workflow optimizations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in glass manufacturing or machine operation is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating glass lathe machinery

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed: Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate production demands.
