Job Description

The Burn Table Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the burn table to cut metal materials according to specifications. You will work closely with a skilled team to ensure quality and precision in our manufacturing process. A strong attention to detail and safety practices will be crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Set up burn table equipment according to project specifications.
  • Calibrate and adjust machinery to achieve optimal performance.
  • Perform quality checks on cut materials for compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
  • Document production output and maintain logs of work performed.
  • Collaborate with other operators and management to enhance production efficiency.
  • Train new operators on burn table operation and safety protocols.
  • Participate in safety drills and training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced training in metal fabrication is preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of metal materials
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
