Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Professor of Economics to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students in economics, guiding research initiatives, and contributing to the academic development of our department.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, conduct discussions, and facilitate learning experiences to undergraduate and/or graduate students.
  • Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials aligned with the course objectives.
  • Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate assignments and examinations.
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field of expertise and incorporate relevant research and industry trends into teaching.
  • Mentor students on academic matters, career choices, and personal growth.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, such as conducting research, publishing papers, and presenting at conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on departmental committees, program development, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in Economics or related field
  • Extensive publications in reputable academic journals.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in teaching and research within the higher education landscape.
