Construction Material Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Construction Material Technician to become part of our dynamic team. Your key responsibilities will include performing tests and analyzing a diverse range of construction materials. The position ensures that we maintain the highest quality standards in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field tests to evaluate the quality of construction materials.
• Document findings and create detailed analytical reports on material compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to discuss material performance.
• Perform routine inspections on construction sites to gather material samples.
• Implement quality assurance measures to uphold construction integrity.
• Train and guide junior technicians in testing methodologies.
• Manage equipment calibration schedules to maintain testing accuracy.
• Document all aspects of testing in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and recommend improvements in testing procedures.
• Ensure all safety measures are observed on-site and maintain records.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

Certifications

• ICC Certification in Materials Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent
