Shellfish Farming Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Shellfish Farming Supervisor to oversee the cultivation and harvesting of shellfish products. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations while effectively managing a team of farm workers to ensure optimal growth and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the aquaculture farm.
• Train new staff and ensure all workers are following best practices.
• Develop and implement team schedules and work plans.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational.
• Track and report on farm productivity and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to shellfish farming.

Requirements

Education

• Associates degree in Marine Biology or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aquaculture or seafood production
