Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities on construction sites. This role involves ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to, coordinating team members, and guaranteeing that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the steel erection process and supervise tradespeople.
• Ensure the correct installation of structural components.
• Review project specifications and blueprints for accuracy.
• Facilitate team meetings to discuss project goals.
• Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Coordinate with safety officers to maintain workplace safety.
• Assist in budget management and resource allocation.
• Prepare reports on project progress for upper management.
• Train staff on new technologies or techniques.
• Evaluate subcontractors' work and provide recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in construction management, with supervisory experience
