Job Description

As a House Parent, you will play a vital role in providing care and supervision to children living in our residential home. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being while fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create a supportive environment fostering the children's growth and development.
  • Collaborate with staff to devise and oversee individualized care plans.
  • Manage and document daily activities and behavioral observations.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and provide crisis management support.
  • Engage children in therapeutic activities and team-building exercises.
  • Lead family meetings and maintain open lines of communication with caregivers.
  • Support children's educational needs by coordinating with teachers and tutors.
  • Encourage skill-building and independence among the youth in your care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Child Development)
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in child care or social services.
