Job Description

As a Medical Appliance Technician, you will play a vital role in crafting and maintaining prosthetic devices. Your expertise will ensure patients receive the best possible care and support as they adjust to their new artificial limbs.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and custom-fit prosthetics using CAD software and modern techniques.
  • Assess and adjust devices post-fabrication to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to obtain proper documentation for device fitting.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries regarding prosthetic adjustments and concerns.
  • Participate in professional development workshops to enhance skills in prosthetics.
  • Manage inventory of prosthetic materials and supplies efficiently.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in prosthetics technology or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the prosthetics field
