Job Description
As a Medical Appliance Technician, you will play a vital role in crafting and maintaining prosthetic devices. Your expertise will ensure patients receive the best possible care and support as they adjust to their new artificial limbs.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and custom-fit prosthetics using CAD software and modern techniques.
Assess and adjust devices post-fabrication to ensure patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with medical staff to obtain proper documentation for device fitting.
Respond promptly to patient inquiries regarding prosthetic adjustments and concerns.
Participate in professional development workshops to enhance skills in prosthetics.
Manage inventory of prosthetic materials and supplies efficiently.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in prosthetics technology or related field is preferred
Experience
1-3 years of experience in the prosthetics field
