Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stage Rigger to join our team. The Stage Rigger will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup and maintenance of rigging systems used in theatrical or concert productions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in stage rigging and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of rigging systems and equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Assist in designing rigging setups that meet production needs and safety standards.
  • Lead the installation and operation of rigging systems for various shows and events.
  • Implement safety protocols to minimize risks during rigging operations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior riggers and staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Document rigging equipment usage and maintenance logs for compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with various teams to align rigging needs with production schedules.
  • Evaluate and recommend new rigging technologies and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications in more advanced rigging courses are preferred.
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in stage rigging, preferably in high-stakes environments.
